sixty two

Tyrell’s nose was cold, and that was what woke him, or maybe it was the fact that it was morning, but he didn’t care for either one at the moment. He grumbled softly and moved closer to Lehana, burying his face in Lehana’s hair and fully intending to go right back to sleep.

But he was stiff and the ground was hard, in spite of the fluffy sleeping bag, and there was a rock or something digging into his hipbone that refused to let him get comfortable enough to get back to sleep. Tyrell growled softly and wrapped his arms around Lehana, pushing closer and shifting over far enough to be rid of whatever it was.

“Leyna,” he grumbled sleepily. “Your ground is poking me.” Read the rest of this entry »

sixty one

Rene examined the store with a critical eye. Very few of the books, in the end, had been damaged beyond all repair. Lehana would still be pissed but at least he wouldn’t kill him…not that it was possible anyway but he didn’t feel like finding out what Lehana was really capable of when angry, and when he saw the store he was definitely going to be angry. Maybe. The insurance people were doing a damn good job of clean up, all things considered. In the end, upstairs might actually be livable again by the time they were done.

sixty

January 10th, 2009 by tyrell

Tyrell had never done much camping, and he was a little dubious about the whole idea, being a little too fond of the comforts of home — or hotel, as the case might be. But he knew how much Lehana was looking forward to this, and he found himself rather excited by the prospect as well; or at least intrigued, romantic as it sounded, sleeping under the stars.

fifty nine

December 30th, 2008 by lehana

Lehana waited nervously while Tyrell finished his conversation, hands sliding up under his shirt to gently caress his stomach, wondering who it was, but not really caring because it was clearly something to do with work, which he didn’t like at all, because he hadn’t rung Keenan to ask about the shop but Tyrell was still answering calls about work and that wasn’t fair at all. Still, he had enough sense to wait until Tyrell was done.

Keenan was in no hurry to get back to the bookstore. Even assuming the disturbance hadn’t gotten called in by the neighbors - which was a pretty good chance, really, since most places nearby were businesses and a lot of them had been closed - there was no telling if the ghosts were at rest now, or just waiting to stir things back up. He didn’t think that seeing him coming back would make things any better.

fifty seven

October 24th, 2008 by lehana

Lehana felt as though he were on another planet. Gone were the constant dreary grey clouds, the sky was clear and bright and the water reflected the brilliant shade of blue. The breeze was cool but the air was hot and the sand warm under his toes when he went for walks along the beach. The ocean was cool and refreshing, the salt in the air making his skin feel clean and refreshed, giving him a rosy glow.

fifty six

Keenan had been quite delighted when Lehana had asked him to mind the shop for him while he was gone, not least because it was really pretty adorable, the idea of big badass Tyrell Collins taking his almost-husband on a honeymoon in the tropics for crying out loud. Six weeks at a luxurious island resort! It was crazy, but also damn cool. The shine in Lehana’s eyes had been obvious, and he’d practically been glowing when he’d come by to ask Keenan to take over for him in the meantime.

fifty five

September 18th, 2008 by lehana

It was really quite odd, in Lehana’s opinion. Just yesterday he was a normal guy…well, relatively. He was working in a bookshop, living with his eccentric boyfriend and he hadn’t even had any ghosts bothering him. Totally normal.

Now, he was on a plane to some tropical island he barely recalled the name of, to stay for a month in their honeymoon suite, because he’d basically married his eccentric, hot as hell boyfriend and he’d left a kid in charge of the bookstore and the ghosts at home for the cook to deal with and really…how did this happen? He wasn’t sure he really knew. He’d just wanted to know why Tyrell didn’t want to sleep with him, and really…the guy certainly didn’t seem to have a problem with it at all now, which was weird too!

Tyrell was waiting outside Lehana’s room when he came out, leaning against the wall opposite the door with his hands in his pockets, looking lazy and relaxed and just a little bit smug, still. He was very very pleased with himself and Lehana and life in general, really. It was going to be a damn good day.

“Ready to go?” he asked, pushing away from the wall and straightening up when he saw Lehana.

fifty three

August 22nd, 2008 by tyrell

The next morning when Tyrell woke up, he felt subtly, rather deliciously sore all over, save for a few spots that twinged a little stronger, and he shifted, stretching a little wonderingly just to feel the tug of unfamiliar aches and muscles.

It was different, it was so incredibly different. He hadn’t thought it would be, really, but it was. He was warm, god so warm, lying there tangled up in sheets and Lehana, still holding each other close, still sinfully naked but more importantly skin to skin, so comfortable and warm and incredibly, almost unbearably right.
